Suggest Remedy For Hematoma Causing Discoloration Of Leg Along With Pain

I had a heart cath done on last friday. all was good. Sat my plug popped out causing a hemotobin??? It took them 1 and half hours to stop the artery from bleeding. My leg is black and blue all the way to the middle of my lower calf. It still is very painful. Should it remain that way till the blood is absorbed...I did lay flat for 24 hours after the trip to ER. Wondering about Blood clotting what to look for..Sorry I did not know it would cost. Sorry for taking your time..
