Suggest Remedy For High BP

my primary doctor has just put me on atenolol 25 mg. I have high blood pressure 140/90 average. Plus 25mg.of hydrochlorothiazide one a day and the atenolol once a night. she said I had an enloged heart. I have not experienced any pain, take thyroid medication 150mg. a day and wonder if I need to see HEART doctor as I am not confident in her. I may be wrong. .I am 80 and extremely active.
