Suggest Remedy For High BP

I went to the gynecologist today and myt blood pressure reading was 174/85. She took it at the beginning of my appointment and again at the end. They were basically the same reading. What does that mean? She sent the notes to my family doctor. However, I had coarctation of the aorta when I was 2, I am 45 yrs old now.
