Suggest Remedy For Hives

I'm26 5'3 160lbs...I've had hives for over a month now, and they usually come at night, today some stayed a day on my legs, when I took a 5 day steriod that helped. But its also mail where I am laying, like if I lay on my size there are a bunch of hives all down the side of my body and arm. I have some on the bottom of my foot and it makes my foot feel bruised. I have not changed any soaps detergent ect. I have been under alot of stress and my doc gave me some atarax, it helps with my anxiety but not the hives..also I take benadril..and I'm still pretty itchy and it doesn't help them go away. What can I do or what would be causing this..my insurance got cut off so now I cant go back to the doc unless I really should...but ill have to pay for it and don't have a lot of money.
