Suggest Remedy For Hyperpigmentation On Arms, Elbow, Buttocks, Knees And Toes

Hi Dr. Batra,

I am a 20 year old African-Canadian female. I have very sensitive skin and I suffer from hyperpigmentation on my arms, elbows, back, buttox, knees, and toes. I want to use an effective and safe skin lightening cream to remove my pigmentation. I've used creams with a high percentage of hydroquinon and it did work. However, I have stopped using the product once I found out that hydroquinon is harmful. I did a bit of research and read that kojic acid is a great ingredient to skin lightening. I've also read that kojic acid is not good for the skin (and I've also read it's safe). I really want to know a safe and effective product to use on my body and face. Please help.
