Suggest Remedy For Infected Blister On Big Toe

i had gotten a blister on my big toe approximately a week and a half ago. I just basically ignored it thinking it would just go away on its own. well my big toe is swollen and red and very tender (painfull) now. The redness goes from the right side of my toe to the left like under the outline of the toenail. its not on the end or tip or bottom of my toe/. I tried to poke it (lance it) with a super sharp sterile "Splinter Out" metal pick I got from work and pierced it like 6 times and nothing came out .
