Suggest Remedy For Infection On The Lip Which Has Led To Swelling

Hello, i am really worried and searching around for any possible answers about my lip. In my lips, i have a huge lump in the middle of my upper lip at the outside and it's visible. I've had it for 1.5 years now. The doctor is going to send me to get a lip biopsy to see whats wrong. Do you think it's safe? do you know anything about this?. im really worried i want to get it removed so my lips look small and not swolllen and im going on a vacation in july i really want to get this fixed im so stressed and depressed
