Suggest Remedy For Inflamed,red, Patchy And Tender Spot Near Groin

hi I have a mole in my groin area an inch below my c section scar.It is now inflamed and red patchy and started to weep. Burn sensation and tender to touch. I used sun beds daily for about 6 years so was exposed quite a bit as I did not wear underwear.It looked like it was healing to start with as it looked like a shiny scar then became scaly around. I went to see a GP today and she said its probably an inflamed spot? It wasnt a spot there it was a flat mole? She said she will put me on antibiotics for a week so she can then see? Could this still be skin cancer?
