Suggest Remedy For Irregular Heart Beat

Hello, I have an irregular heartbeat, it s very rapid to very slow. I purchased one of these Flex belts to help with exercise. I ve noticed when my heart acts up and I use this it seems to reset the heartbeat to a more normal beat? What does that mean and is it ok??
