Suggest Remedy For Itching And Darkening In Pubic Area

My Pubic region is very itchy and has darkened considerably. Also, it has small bumps in it. It burns if i itch it, and it aggravates during the night time, or when i apply water/ some moisturising cream on it. But the area is very dry. Is there some medicine that will provide relief? and is it something serious?
