Suggest Remedy For Itching And Redness Over Cut On Leg

I cut my leg last week while painting. The cut did bleed and I cleaned it. A couple days later my leg started to itch like I had a bite from a bug. I noticed a reg spot above the cut. Now an area about 2X3 is red and looks like a rash. I don't have pain just extreme itching .
