Suggest Remedy For Itchy Rashes On Pubic Area

hi i have shaved my pubic area for a while now, and recently i jus noticed a red itchy blister bumplike on my near vagina? and i am darkskinned so it looks more like a lump n a little red. should i changed my razor more frequently or just trim with the scissors?
