Suggest Remedy For Itchy Red Patches On Leg

Hi my mom and I went to the sea and only her legs were in the water. Sometime after that there were itchy red patches on her leg and they didn't go away. It's been almost 10 months and they're still there. Btw I was also with her but nothing happened to me. Please help.thanks
