Suggest Remedy For Itchy Red Spots From Insect Bite

It looks like my daughter was bit my a spider on her private area? She has red spots on the outer part and continues to say her private area itches . I have soaked her in a sitz bath and put hydracortazone , and it doesn t seem to be helping. So could I use calamine lotion in this area ?
