Suggest Remedy For Knee Pain After Quad Stretch Exercise

When I perform a quad stretch such as pulling my foot towards my buttocks, my knee gets stuck and won t straighten out. The stretch is not painful but trying to straighten it is painful. I m a distance runner. I have no pain when running or biking.
