Suggest Remedy For Loss Of Hearing After Being Hit In Ear

Hi, I got hit in the ear with a soccer ball last night and since then I can't hear out of my left ear. It doesn't hurt but overnight I still can't hear and there was very mild bleeding. I am going to get it checked but looking online I saw that it normally got better within a few weeks and that doctors will probably tell you to let it be and not let it get infected. Is there anything I can do to help speed the process?
