Suggest Remedy For Low Vitamin D Serum Level In Blood

`I am taking vit D 3 given to me by my physician, 1000 units q am. I was reading that I should also be taking vit D2. I have osteoporosis, hypoparathyroid disease due to surgery. Due to my disability I rarely get outside. I also take clacitriol 25 mg qam. My vit D serum levels was 22 and now is 34 since I started taking the Vit D3 with the calcitriol. Again should I include vit D2 and how much D3 should I take since I believe my vit D serum is still low. Thank You
