Suggest Remedy For Mid Back Pain On The Right Side

I've been having mid back pain on the right side for about three weeks now.....has progressively gotten worse. I went to emergency last week....no exam done...only pain meds given. No known trauma. I work in the dental field so this is very inconvenient. I haven't been able to see another doctor......taking muscle relaxants, ibuprofen, using heat and ice, getting massage, nothing is working. I am usually very active, but haven't been for last week and a half......don't know if I should be or should be resting........
