Suggest Remedy For Mild Upper Respiratory Tract Infection

I have had a mild case of the flu (I did get a flu shot), and now I seem to be having signs of an upper respiratory infection. I would like to know if I can safely take an OTC expectorant, given that I take Asmanex, Triamterene, OTC Nasacort and OTC Prilosec. What is the best expectorant for me to take?
