Suggest Remedy For Nasal And Chest Congestion

Hi, I have a cold with chest congestion. I have been taking Mucinex D. for 5 of 6 days I had the cold. I have gotten a little better but it’s been very slow. How many day should I wait until I do to the doctor?

I do have a Nasal Congestion, with pretty clear mucus, but no temperature.
