Suggest Remedy For Pain After Hip Replacement Surgery

I have 5 disc out lower spine,no idea how this happened although just after hip replacement pain was noted.I have had Injection into area 1 year ago but still suffer from bad pain and have to use a walking stick to be mobile.I am 76yrs.Month ago I was bluntly told nothing can help me.I am really depressed as I have always been active and now find it difficult to walk.Have you any suggestions.I am a pensioner with very little money so am also worried about the cost of this.
