Suggest Remedy For Pain And Bruising On Lower Leg Post Injury

I was hit in the lower shin by a softball, traveling at about 25-30MPH. A week later I have varying degrees of bruising in different areas and my ankle ,about 3 from original injury site, is purple and slightly swollen. It does sting most of the time, worse when I walk fast. But pain is tolerable. Should be concerned?
