Suggest Remedy For Pain Behind Ear And Down The Neck

i have just returned from holiday 3 weeks ago on the plane on the way there whilst landing i suffered really badly with pressure and had a shooting pain down the back of my head from my ear. it has never really been the same since. i visited my doc who said my ear drum was pulled back and it should correct itself in the next few weeks. i'm still getting pain behind my ear and down my neck. is this normal until my eardrum returns to normal or have i also developed an infectionn thank you
