Suggest Remedy For Pain Caused By Nerve Damage

I have had two surgeries from Navy medicine on a Marine corps base on my 5th metatarsal for a non-union jones fracture. They put a screw in to pull the bones together but caused significant nerve damage so they removed it in the second surgery but now are telling me I will be in pain for the rest of my life and I will not regain feeling in the outer extremities of my foot but will not help me with meds because I am a marine. I was wondering if you could help me or give me any advice.
