Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Costochondritis

I have been diagnosed with Costochondritis and the have been prescribed pennsaid by one doctor and entrophen by the other. Have been doing both but still having pain. Is there any other remedy that can help? I have asked dr about physio therapy and my doctor says he wants to send me for a stress test first. Am I going to have to live with this forever? I have made two trips to emergency because of chest pain and I want it to end. Any ideas and maybe if someone could explain the problem better I could get better faster
