Suggest Remedy For Pain In Chest And Throat After A Violent Sneez

I had a somewhat violent sneeze yesterday, and it caused pain first in my chest and then my throat. The chest pain is gone, now it's just throat pain. It is a sharp pain and occasionally gets very bad in waves. It has been over 24 hours now. Is it something to see a physician about or should I wait it out?
