Suggest Remedy For Pain In Ear Due To Infection

I have had an ear nose infection going on several month now. I'm seeing an ENT. My left ear has been in extreme pain. I have been prescribed antibiotics, but nothing for the pain. Omnaris nasal spray. Now, it seems like everything is imflamed because I can feel the nasal spray not getting into my left like my right side. I am afraid to talk to my ENT about it more because I feel like I'm getting nowhere. In fact, I haven't gotten anywhere for months, it just feels like its getting worse. what can I do?
