Suggest Remedy For Pain In Foot Due To Surgery

My daughter has had extensive foot surgery for the second time. First time for hammer toe. Dr. cut her foot into and put pins in it to keep it together. It didn t heal. Got second foot surgery from another doctor who said first one was done wrong. Now she has a plate holding her foot together (took bone from side of her knee) to put where foot wasn t growing back together. She is having much pain. Is there a natural rub or pain reliever she can use. They won t fill her pain med as soon as it is time. It is very difficult to get pain meds. Please advise for pain. thank you , Augustine Krenek
