Suggest Remedy For Pain In Left Rear Into Thigh And Calf

Hi. I am a week and a half post op. I had a discetomy at L4/5. I'm now having what seems to be a bit of syatic pain in my left rear into my thigh and calf. No numbness. My left where I'm having the pain is the opposite of where the pain and numbness started in the right. Could I have possibly injured myself and done too much? Thanks
