Suggest Remedy For Pain In Lower Abdomen Caused Due To Withholding Of Urine

Hi there, I held in my urine for a little while and now i have lower stomach sore-like pain and feel the urge to go to the bathroom, but when I do nothing comes out. I know this is not a bladder infection or UTI because it would happen frequently when I was a child. Can you please explain this and what I can do to better relieve pain?
