I am 16 years old, 160 pounds, and I have been having very bad upper shin and knee pain. It is made worse by sitting, walking, running, jumping, squatting, and basically any other physical activity. A doctor told me it was Patella Femoral Pain Syndrome and Tendonitis in my quadriceps and to take 6 weeks off of activity. I have taken 6 weeks off, iced and stretched daily, and I still have the pain in my knees and shins. It has gotten better, but I still cannot run or jump without a lot of pain.
