Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Ankle From A Fracture

i broke my ankle last sunday went to the hospital monday they said i have a spiral brake to my right ankle put me in a soft cast for the swelling which i have to go and have changed wednesday but i am in the same agony as when i broke it the pain is really bad im taken co codamol and they are no pain releif at all is this right.. thankyou
