Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was told by a gynecologist about 5 yrs ago that I had an obdural (sp.) fossa that was causing some pain in my left groin. A very painful area was discovered during a pelvic exam. But..things got better and I moved away from that doctors practice area. I am now having a terrible with my left hip--hardly agle to get up and down, or even sleep on my left side. It also seems that a lot of the pain is somewhere inside my groin area near the hip joint. My doctor, in a pain-prevention clinic has given me two sets of different kinds of shots, but I ve received very little relief. I am pretty sure that the real problem is the area we discovered that was so painful then--and now it is causing a lot of problems. What does OBDURAL FOSSA mean????
