Suggest Remedy For Pain In The Shoulder Blade

I have a 10 yr old that began complaining of pain this morning. The pain is located around the top of his left shoulder blade. The pain is sharp when he raises his arm. If the arm is down along his side it does not bother him. The pain seemed to come out of nowhere. He has not had any unuaual movement or exercise in the last couple of days
