Suggest Remedy For Pain, Stiffness And Swelling In The Knee Post Replacement Surgery

I had knee replacement surgery over a year ago. I am still having complications. My orthopaedic doctor prescribed Etodolac 400mg to help with stiffness, pain, and swelling. My GP doctor is concerned with me taking this medication because I have only one kidney. I was taking it twice a day but now I'm only taling it when the pain is really bad( every other day). I have tried to research this but cannot find any information. What should I do?
