Suggest Remedy For Painful Bruise From Shoulder To Waist

Working under my bathroom sink, I was laying on my left side but had to move from time to time to get to my plumbing problem. In doing so I bumped my side and now have a large black and blue area from under my left shoulder down to my waist. What are my treatment options. There is pain with this.
