Suggest Remedy For Painful Rashes On Neck

I am a 56 yr old woman. My neck has been hurting for a week. This afternoon i noticed a red rash on my arm close to my wrist and I started running a low grade fever. The rash is square shape and about the size of a penny. It doesn't itch. It burns and hurts just a little bit.
