Suggest Remedy For Painful Splinter Between Palm And Wrist

I got a painful splinter between my palm and wrist, from trimming a Robollini Palm over 2 months ago. It was too small to see but red and very sore for over a week. Time passed and it became less sore but a hard area formed around it. It then became a little infected, so I soaked it in warm Epsoms Salt water a few times and then tried to get it out using a sterilized needle, but with no luck. Weeks passed, the lump got a little bigger. I thought I could see a speck that might be it so I tried again to get it out. Still no luck but it is sore and the lump has gotten a little bigger still. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
