Suggest Remedy For Penile Bruise And Cut Post Injury

My boyfriend and I were having sex on the counter and he slipped out and hit the top of the head of his penis and raked it back on the edge of the counter and now there seems to be a bruise and a very minor tear .. just wondering What to do? Does he need to go see a doc right away??
