Suggest Remedy For Penile Desensitization Post Circumcision

hello, my boyfriend is circumcised and because of this he experiences desensitization in/on/of his penis. I m wondering if there is a way to fix this. some research has suggested that the unprotected head of the penis due to circumcision leads to thicker skin around the glans. If he were to moisturize, would that help? or is there a way to thin the thicken skin?
