Suggest Remedy For Planters Wart On Foot

I had a plantar wart on my foot. It was tiny but i pretty much pulled it off. It hurt and then it bled a lot, for something so small. About half the size of a pencil eraser. I put toilet paper on the injury and taped it. Should I be worried??? I tried to find info online but people said you need to rip out the root. Ehat happens if I didn t get the root. I just ripped off the obvious lump
