Suggest Remedy For Psoriasis On The External Side Of Lower Leg

I have been diagnosed with psoriasis on the outside of my lower leg. I have looked a pictures on line and I am not convinced it is psoriasis. no family history and it is just one area that continues to grow in size. I have noticed however that any sore on lower legs does not completely heal. I am 30 pounds over weight, but I do exercise regularly (high intensity). My feet also go numb during cycle class and on the eliptical.
