Suggest Remedy For Raised Bumps

I have a small bump, kind of a pimple and it is raised. If i scratch it it bleeds and the bump seems to get reduced but in couple of days it goes back to being raised again. Years ago a dermatologist burned similar things but they seemed to be back. I'm not sure if they are the same kind or in the same place though. Do you know if there is something I can do for this?
