Suggest Remedy For Recurring Ear Block

Hi, my ears have been blocked for about 2 weeks now I have been using olive oil but they just seem more blocked! I'm at my wits end I had them syringed about 2 months ago but it's come back and is affecting my work, driving etc. The stuff that comes out of my ears if i poke them doesn't smell very nice what should i do?
