Suggest Remedy For Recurring Ear Infection

I have been having ear troubles since visiting New Zealand last year in June (12 months ago). Since then I have been getting ear infections every 2 to 3 months. I was just wondering what could be the cause of this? It is really painful and I finish every prescription of antibiotics, but they keep coming back.
