Age: 53
Weight: 120 or so
Medical History: Cured of breast cancer seven or so years ago through surgery and radiotherapy; Excema in the ears at the moment that is relieved by ointment but seems to always come back (particularly in the right ear).Take zyrtec fairly regularly to relieve itchiness deep inside ear (not related to the excema) presumably caused by allergies. Not much else to report that I can think of.
Problem: A few months ago, when I awoke, I noticed very tender skin on each side of the upper part of what can apparently be called the "bum crack" ("crack of the buttocks"). When pressed against the bed sheets, they felt raw, sort of painful, almost like an open blister might feel and look. It was very red. When I wasn't in bed, I didn't feel anything. The spots went away quickly and I didn't think of them anymore.
A couple of days ago, though, I woke up with the same sensation--this time with a big red oblong, raw spot on one side with a small pink spot directly across. The next day, it was scaley (like it had formed a scab) and has been getting smaller and smaller over the last few days. The painful-to-the-touch sensation only lasted about a day. There really hasn't been any itchiness, except maybe slightly for a moment yesterday after touching. Not terribly concerned, but puzzled.
