Suggest Remedy For Red Blotches Around The Belly Button Area

I was scratched by my dog she's a pup and she scratched my stomach and so I cleaned it and I put polysporine on it with bandages for a few days so it would not rub against my clothes. So now I notice there's a few red blotches around my belly button even though the scratch happened on the side of it and there's another small blotch on the other side of the scratch a few inches away from it. Is this normal? I now have polysporine cream on it without bandages at the moment
