Suggest Remedy For Red Marks And Bruises

My foster son is almost 7 months old. He gets red marks and bruises very easy. The red marks will last for hours. He can simply roll over a toy or try to crawl he he will get red marks and bruises. I dont understand this and wondered what it could be and what I can do to help him and prevent it. Thanks so much!
