Suggest Remedy For Red Skin Patches In Children

Hi, my six year old boy has quite pale skin but often gets red patches on his upper cheeks below the eyes. We have tried dry skin cream but if has no effect. These red patches come and go but have been around for a couple of months now. Any thoughts? Thanks.
