Suggest Remedy For Red,blotchy,itchy Body Rashes

my husband has a body rash for a few weeks they are red and blotchy and itchy and some of the rash has whiteheads we are going to the skin dr tomorrow and the medical dr was of no help my husbnd is 5' 8' weight is 200 and he is not a well man i am waiting for an answer and nothing is happening am i doing something wrong?
